nice site. simple, elegant, and streamlined. the hosting companies will often snatch up the expired domain, and charge you up the wazoo to get it back, so looks like what you have now will work. much love, will
I wondered about your website for the last few years! ARG! At any rate, happy to see you out touring again. Hoping the west coast might see you in the fall.....? I've been nudging KC Turner for a return visit to the Bay Area :)
My old domain got snapped up by someone who taught erotica writing. Since I’m a writer, too, people just assumed it was still me. 😂😂 Hope to catch you at Club Passim!
Very clean website, and it's interesting that the water reflections in most of the photos range from mirror-like to abstract. Black and white photography can be much more stark and effective than color, for sure. Gives the site a rather noir feel. I like it.
It's also good to see that your touring will continue - good for us, that is, but I'm sure it can be hard on your family. Selfishly, I hope I get to see you in the SF Bay Area before too long; it's been years since I last saw you in person. Still, it's important that you find a balance between touring and your home life.
Last, looking forward to that upcoming album; the teasers were great. How's it coming along?
I had wondered about your web site during the time you were on hiatus. Don't know about your other questions, but yes, there is an app for that. There is nefarious money to be made in holding poached domains hostage should the original owner want them back, or to sell to another prospective owner might covet them. You might want to put automatic renewal and domain lock on your new web digs to keep it in the family.
I heard you're coming back to the Lizzie Rose in Tuckerton sometime soon, date TBA. This makes me happy. 😊
Glad to see you have a home on the web again (other than here, obviously). Hopefully I’ll be able to catch a show. Sadly I can’t go to the one in NYC (can’t do Sundays), but I’m thinking of road-tripping to Boston for a Passim show. So hopefully I’ll see you then! Take care.
Marginal? Never! Have never been anywhere to catch you live. Survive on your recordings on CD. Currently living in Deming NM and would be so over the moon if you would come to, I don’t know, Las Cruces? Silver City? Southwestern NM U? I’m too too far from Taos and Santa Fe…. And too poor that’s why I’m in Deming. But, off you came anywhere in NM I’d get there. Admire you so very much.

Absolutely!
Caught your show at McCabe’s in Santa Monica. Hope you come back on this tour.

Ahaha good one....I wonder if that gave Richard an idea for an erotica song now...😁😆..Without any metaphors for guitars or anything.
😂😂

Look forward to being able to stream your shows at Club Passim!!!
That is a very calm and reassuring website. 'Richard Shindell is here,' it says, 'and will do Richard Shindell in a no-nonsense fashion.'

Would love to see you come down to Florida
Chronically marginal??? I think not! 💪
My thoughts exactly. Nothing marginal about RS.
Looking forward to see how else you flesh out the site. Lyrics? Direct sales of CDs? Published show reviews? Link to someone’s chords site? ;-)

Glad your site is back up! I hope that you make it back to the UK in the not too distant future!
Thrilled you are returning to Maine.
