Great show at the Town Crier last night. Will you be posting your fall song. I think I remember it called light the fire? Thanks for a great show as always.

You're funny! I'd read your travel book for sure. Like Blue Highways, but with open tunings. Safe travels.

Totally agree with Elisa! And along those lines, for anyone with an interest in a singer-songwriter's often humorous yet poignant travel memoir, I strongly recommend Garnet Rogers' Night Drive: Travels With My Brother.

Garnet Roger's book is quite a good read. He is also a great performer, super talented guitar player-- go see him when you can!

My wife is still mortified by the ring (hedwigs theme from Harry Potter- our daughter calling for no damn reason at all). And btw, she had the Mozart ball for balloon man too. Just amazing shows Richard. Looking forward to seeing you and Lucy next week

Hopewell Theater is a great venue, Lucy played there not too long ago.

You may not remember, but our Cry3 tourbus was chartered through a company called Ego Trips.

Wonderful show in Beacon last night. We were just telling our daughter how you couldn’t quite figure out what everyone in the crowd was saying about the cat distribution system until you had them reiterate “yes, that’s how it starts.”

I don’t think we passed any of the Super Ego truck fleet on the way south to Brooklyn, but will keep an eye out for them from now on.

I KNOW what you mean about I-84, and I avoid it like the plague (current or ancient).

If not for the incessant, any time day or night logjams around the bigger towns, than for having to pass by that Sandy Hook road sign. :( :(

Do you know which instruments old Quacky Duck band member (founder??) Dave Mansfield is going to be schlepping to the gigs he is backing up with yourself and Lucy??

"Next Best Western" with a pedal steel backup would sound GREAT! ;)

Richard, I saw your show at Club Passim on Thursday (the one where the ringtone went off during Transit). It was a wonderful show, and I loved hearing the new songs. I hope the rest of the tour goes well. Safe travels on the roads - half of the drivers are "clearly impaired."

We spoke when you last played Greystones in Sheffield. I can understand you stocking up on favourites when living abroad. For me it was Captain Scott's Extra Strong English Tea, Vintage Cheddar and Branston Pickle. You may already know but you can get Coleman's in powder form in a tin. Lasts ages and much easier to transport. I used to carry around a bottle of Worcester sauce with me tp spice up bland food when travelling as well as this brand of anchovy sauce. https://www.geowatkins.com/

You may have a stationery problem, but there’s nothing stationary about it. You got me wondering what I’d have to take home. Sadly, Duke’s mayonnaise.

So cool to read you’re happy and engaged! I can not wait till next Sunday. Welcome back. The last time we spoke SXSW had just announced it’s cancellation... you migrated and promised you weren’t leaving forever. Break a leg, Richard.
